below average. system kind of rotating around the big old low up in oregon is right there might produce more than just some low clouds for mendocino county and lake county. possible mostly cloudy skies later on as the tail end of that system kind of swings by. it's also not only giving low clouds but any time you get a little system coming in that enhances the drizzle. a lot of 50s out there with local drizzle and temperatures even with the overcast it's cool. and there's a no doubt about it sea breeze. boot scooting it all the way out to the sacramento valley. temperatures out there have come way down as well. that's pretty impressive system for this time of year. i mean last in june we had two of those systems that came down and visited us, gave us rain. remember rain beginning in june end of june. this time of year it's almost a miracle it makes it that far. the end result for us is a lot of low clouds and drizzle. very, very cool pattern for july. afternoon highs 50s 60s 70s i did go with one 80 that was clear lake but i almost went 79 there. and there will be 60s and 70s in between

warmer inland on the weekend but not a big jump up. temperatures i think will just recover and get back into the 80s. by the coast i still think 50s and 60s. system moved into the pacific northwest actually settled into oregon and the southern end of that has just been sweeping in low clouds. you can see how they bank up. they'll be a decrease in the low cloud deck because it's getting so cool aloft and also the inland temperatures have been plunging there's really not a lot to support it but it's still there. and every wind direction is almost out of the west or southwest. the delta breeze howling all the way to sacramento. two 60s, san jose and san jose state. but upper 50s and mid-50s. that system continues to carve itself out right out of the portland. for this time of year that's an extremely impressive system to make it that far and have this much of an impact. low overcast drizzle fog temperatures held in check cool for july no doubt about that. today, tomorrow bottom out and then a slight increase friday as we head into the weekend. still lots of 70s in areas that should be uppe

on that though. big fog bank out there. it's up and flying over the hills. temperatures in the 50s for almost everybody, except for the one loan outpost out there. and when you see a west, southwest at 26 miles per hour, i mean that's a sea breeze, gusts over 30 miles per hour at fair field. and sea breeze for everybody. everything is in place for another cool day. temperatures below average a little bit. and then we back off a little bit. low clouds, sun and breezy, but also drizzle, windy. 50s, 60s and 70s and maybe a few mid-80s, but temperatures held in check due to the fog bank and lower pressure on the west coast. looks like we will see a gradual, just slight warming trend. and it does look warm into the weekend, temperatures near normal. >> thank you. >>> nearly two dozen suspicious fires in north hollywood have investigators searching for an arsonists. take a look at that, at least 18 fires have burned apartment buildings, a motor home and several cars since thursday. all of the fires were set early in the morning. one woman left her home to look at a fire down the street and was shoc

in this country, if we don't meet our bills, do we get into big trouble, or don't we? some people are holding out and saying, this isn't a problem we can slither through this thing. where are you on that? >> no. i think it is a problem. in fact, you know, we have slowly stair stepped our way into this mess and certainly the gop caucus, right on right crime perpetrated there with the different messages and you know, who's on top of who? who's the leading voice today? done nothing more than muddled the debate for a lot of the american people right now. you're seeing it begin to reflect in the polls. beginning to see it reflect amongst some of the other members of the caucus who are just sick and tired of not getting to a point of resolution. so i think that there are very serious people there beginning to step up with the party on both sides, quite frankly, to move the participants to a point where we can actually begin to get something done. i think, chris, there will be a deal done. the question is, right now, what exactly does it look like, and who's prepared to stand before the american people
